Up to 70 undergrad scholarships are up for grabs by high school seniors living in the Houston Area. The George and Mary Josephine Hamman Foundation is offering this school funding offer to only high school students in their final academic year, planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree at any tertiary institution located in the United States.

These high school students must not be nationals of the United States or holding a paper of permanent US residency.

About the Sponsor: The Texas-chattered foundation named “George and Mary Josephine Hamman” is a non-profit organization, and has awarded up to a total of $100 Million USD in student grants and free bursaries over a course period of 63 years. Within these 63 years of service, it has actively engaged and assisted the community in multiple other areas.

Houston High School seniors planning to apply for this grant offered by the Foundation should note they could study any major course of their choice at any US University or college, up to a period of four years. Candidates, under this grant program sponsored by the GMJH Foundation can study any degree or diploma course of their dreams at any institution of their choice provided the institution in located within the territory of the United States and the applicant is not a US citizen nor a permanent resident of the United States currently in their last study year at any high school.

The amount awarded to each scholar under this free student grant program is $20,000 and this amount is not given to the beneficiaries at once: it is spread across the four years of one’s degree study at the various institutions where the Hamman Foundation Scholars are studying.
